After reviewing tons of emails, fix some urgent bugs, and re-read my work plans, I think I'm now in the same level of "awareness" I was before leaving. It hasn't been easy. It's amazing how much you can forget (or bury in the memory) in almost three weeks of not thinking about computers at all.
But it was worth it. The trip to Namibia was wonderful. It has been my first trip in Africa, and I'm sure it won't be the last one. In the meanwhile, I have around 2000 photos to review and process (it's also the first time I shot everything in RAW). Here is a selection for your enjoyment.
