+ 6 - 2 | § ¶New Year New Life
New year happening: I moved to a new appartment. Moving is always a painful process, it's difficult to understand how one manages to gather so many things into a small appartment. But the worst part is that I had to contract a new ADSL service since my phone number changed, and it will take some time. So, right now I have no Internet access at home (I don't count the 52kbps winmodem on my laptop, which has been painfully difficult to configure, and which after all doesn't work very well). So if you don't see me very often in the IRC, now you know the reason. I hope that in a couple of weeks at most I'll have my ADSL working again. I look forwrard to check how fast is ADSL2. They promise 20Mbps at most, so it could finally be 19Mbps, or maybe just 1Mbps again. Well see...On the other hand, I have what I think is the longest cold in my life: 15 days in a row. I guess that going skying and doing a couple of excursions in the snow with rackets and temperatures below zero didn't help much (although it was real fun).
Glade-3 in MonoDevelop
Ok, going back to the real world, I committed the glade-3 add-in for MonoDevelop. If you want tot try it beware that it is not finished and it may have many bugs. In the add-in directory there is a README file with compilation instructions. Here is a new screenshot:
As you can see the design area is now embedded into the MonoDevelop main window. That's a bit tricky, and requires Glade-3 to be patched, but it's really cool.
I also committed the first generation of the MonoDevelop API documentation. If you want to see or add content to the documentation just cd to the docs directory and type 'monodoc --edit api'. The documentation is also shown in a branch in the Mono documentation web site.
