It's GUADEC time :-)

It's now 4:20 am on a Sunday morning and I'm about to leave to GUADEC. I'm really excited about that since I missed last GUADEC (it was while I was in Boston) and Dublin was a lot of fun :-)

There are also a couple of great news since I blogged last time:

  • The debugger is ported and fully functional on amd64.
  • GMCS is now almost bug-free and ready for prime-time.
  • Nullable Types are implemented - but apparently nobody is using them. At least, I didn't get any bug reports so far.
  • I did a larger rewrite of the iterators code last week which'll make it possible to use anonymous methods inside iterators.

There is just one little thing which makes me a bit sad - I'm worried that using the wireless at GUADEC will kill the fantastic uptime of my laptop (I'm using suspend-to-disk each night and it didn't crash yet):

martin@gondor:~/monocvs/mono> uptime
  4:24am up 35 days 6:28, 1 user, load average: 0.12, 0.13, 0.61

However, if this warm weather lasts, I need to use the wireless anyways .....
